In the countryside of Bolgheri, between Sant’Uberto and Le Ferrugini, vineyards reflect the nature of these lands . Here, the vines of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot grow and give life to a Superior Bolgheri recognizable among many others. This "Real Bolgherese" could only be called with the name of the land it belongs to. Bolgheri Superiore Sant’Uberto is naturally produced from manually selected grapes and with separate vinifications. It’s produced after two stages of fermentation and the second one takes place in French oak barrels. The colour is deep ruby red and smelling it you can perceive fruity aromas of cherry and plum followed by spicy notes of black pepper and nutmeg. The last sensation is a hint of chocolate to finish with pleasant blond tobacco references. Tannin is sweet and silky and then smooth and wide.
Its name comes from latin verb "erubescere" that means to blush but also to respect , both verbs are bound to all the emotions you feel when you love something or someone. Of intense ruby red color with orange reflections, Erubesco has a penetrating aroma, complex, which encompasses licorice, musk, freshly cut grass, berries; has a good balance, fresh tasting, full-bodied, is velvety and pleasant.
